Mörkviken nature reserve

The nature reserve consists of a west-facing mountain slope, with old pine and spruce forests.

The nature reserve consists of a west-facing mountain slope, towards lake Drögen and the road between Ulrika and Kisa, with old pine and spruce forest. The forest has escaped the felling machines as it has been difficult to harvest due to the slope, blockage, proximity to the road and the lake. Here you can meet some of Östergötland's oldest trees.
