Räckeskog nature reserve

Nature reserves consist of an oak-characterized farming landscape.

Räckeskog nature reserve consists of an oak-characterized agricultural landscape along the northeastern shore of Lake Ämmern. There is also a mountainous forest with ancient pines and beach forests dominated by sticking.

The reserve is divided by a smaller road. Between the road and lake Ämmern there is an elongated, hilly pasture.
Along the beach there is a stickbal-dominated deciduous forest.

The largest natural values can be found in a completely oak-dominated grove 300 meters south of the farm, as well as in the precipice east of the farm. On the slope there is an old pine forest with elements of very old oak trees.
