In Kinda there is a feeling of closeness to nature, culture and each other. We care about each other and live in a safe environment. With less stress and queues, we find harmony.

There is good housing in beautiful surroundings that are close to both lakes and forest. Our children can grow up to be secure adults.

In the winter we go skiing at “Tolvmannabacken" or skating on one of the many lakes. There are nearly 500! We invest our time in giving people of all ages a great experience.

A good, stable economy and visions make Kinda a municipality in the fore-front. Approximately 10 000 inhabitants live in the municipality. The largest towns are Kisa and Rimforsa.

What's it like?
Kinda has rolling hills and a varied landscape of agriculture, mountains, lakes and forests. There are nearly 500 lakes and The Kinda Canal. The largest lakes are Åsunden, Järnlunden and Sommen. We also have beautiful meadows and pastures.

23 Nature Reserves, ranging from exciting caves, meadows and mountains with breathtaking views are waiting to be discovered.

How to get here
Kinda is located in southeast Sweden in the region called Östergötland.

It is about240 km to Stockholm or a 2.5 hours drive. The distamce to rhe city of Linköping, is 55 kmand40 kmto Vimmerby. You can get here easily by train or bus. There is good public transportation from Linköping to the rest of Sweden and Europe.

Closest airports are in Linköping and Jönköping.
